New Guidance for RTOs Delivering ECEC Qualifications

 

Please download the new Guidance for Training Providers and Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Services developed to support registered training organisations to undertake assessment of students completing ECEC qualifications in the workplace.

The guidance provides advice on conducting assessment activities in the workplace with a specific focus on digitally recording children in ECEC services for assessment purposes. It will also assist ECEC students to understand their obligations when engaging in assessment activities while at an ECEC service.

This guidance has been developed by HumanAbility, ASQA, the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority, Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and Department of Education.

We encourage you to share this important information with relevant staff in your organisation.
